Eighteen anglers made the trip to Discovery Bay for the first delta event and round two of the 2012 Bass-n-Tubes season.
Scott Rouhier was the top dog on a tough day in very windy conditions. Scott had one of two limits for the day for 10.41 pounds. Scott's win moves him to the top of the leader board for the 2012 AOY race. Rob Linden with the only other limit would finish in second place with 8.90 pounds for his best five. Steve Lynch rounded out the top 3 with his first money finish in a BnT event. Steve brought 3 fish to the weigh in for 7.49 pounds of delta bass. Big fish money went to Marcus Werner with a 5.70 pounder that fell for a lipless crank early.
Congrats to everyone who came out and braved the wind and to all the top finishers!
And thanks again to Rich Caro and Catch em' Caro baits for donating a custom bait to Scott for his victory and to Marcus for catching the big one!
Our next event is the annual "White Slough Slug Fest" on Sunday April 1st. launching at Guard Rd. on White Slough, and the bite should be ON FIRE! Check the forum for more info.
We look forward to seeing you all there.
