13th annual Clear Lake Pro Kickboat Open

2013 News

Eleven anglers ventured to Lake Berryessa on March 23, 2013 for the second stop of the Bass-n-Tubes tournament season. It was a picture perfect day to be on the water and the fishing was great as well.

Mike Ayers is always a threat at Lake Berryessa and it was no different this weekend. Mike started the day with his drop shot and quickly filled a limit. At the end of the dayMike would have 15.30 pounds for his best five.
Mike also had the big fish of the day with a nice 4.82 pound largemouth. Mike reported the drop shot had stopped producing so in the closing hour of the tournament he picked up a weightless senko to score the big one.

Second place went to Oscar Baeza with a solid limit. Oscar used his jig all day to put his best five bass on the scale for a total weight of 14.04 pounds.

In third place was Craig Huffman. Craig also had a nice limit of bass for a total weight of 11.95 pounds.

Thanks to everyone who came to fish Lake Berryessa with us. We hope to see everyone at Clear Lake for the 'Open' on April 27 & 28!

GO FISH!
