Welcome to Bass-n-Tubes

Bass-n-Tubes is a northern California Float Tube, Kickboat, and Kayak Bass fishing club. We welcome anglers of any skill level and all ages to come on out and join the fun of our low keyed, low cost style of Bass fishing and tournament angling.

2016 News

April 23-24, 2016 - Clear Lake

Fifty kickboaters descended on Clear Lake for the 16th annual 'Bass-n-Tubes Clear lake Open' for another great weekend for competition.

Day one dawned to awesome conditions and the anglers all kicked away from M&M campground with high expectations.
At the end of the days fishing it Kevin Marcheschi, picking up where he left off last year, with the bag to beat. Kevin brought five fish to the scale for 18.98 pounds to take the early lead.
Sitting in second place after day one was, BnT veteran, Steve Williams. Steve had five fish for 16.70 pounds. Steve's limit was anchored by an 8.61 pound kicker which earned him the day one big fish option money.
Third place on day one was Josh Peterson with 13.90 for four fish. Mike Ayers was close behind in fourth with 13.85 pounds. And rounding out the top five was Andy Mercado with 11.69 pounds for his best five.

Day two started with a little breeze that would turn into a big breeze as the day wore on.
Kevin Marcheschi made his way back to his spot before the wind got too bad and had a fairy tale day. Kevin worked a Hudd 68 and a drop shot to put 31.74 pounds on the scale. Kevin anchored his day 2 bag with a 7.89 pound beauty that took day two big fish honors. Kevin's two day weight was 50.22 pounds for the Victory!
Josh Peterson had a good second day and brought a 22.33 pound limit to the scale. Josh ended the weekend with 36.23 pounds and a second place finish.
Mike Ayers brought another limit to the scale for 14.33 pounds. Mike fished consistently both days for a total weight of 27.68 pounds and earned the third place wood.
Fourth place went to Andy Mercado who had 10.42 pounds on day two for 21.61 for a two day total.
Finishing in fifth place and the tournament big fish winner was Steve Williams.
