Welcome to Bass-n-Tubes

Bass-n-Tubes is a northern California Float Tube, Kickboat, and Kayak Bass fishing club. We welcome anglers of any skill level and all ages to come on out and join the fun of our low keyed, low cost style of Bass fishing and tournament angling.

June 18, 2011 - Discovery Bay
Eighteen anglers came out to Discovery Bay to fish the fourth points tourney of the 2011 season. The weather was perfect with sunshine and little to no wind. The fish were in a post spawn funk and it turned out to be a tough bite for most of the guys with only two limits making it to the scale.
Taylor Capilla scored five with a Senko and a Berkley Havoc fishing around dock pilings. Taylors final tally was 11.65 pounds and earned him the win. Finishing in second place was Mitch Teman with 10.65 pounds for 3 fish, topped off with the days big fish of 6.92 pounds. Mitch used a spinnerbait to entice the big one and a Senko and Triple Trout were responsible for the others. Dave "Swampy" Ryle fished a popper for the only other limit of the day for 9.38 pounds to round out the top three.

Thanks to everyone who showed up. Hope to see you all at Beacon Harbor on July 9th and 10th.

All BnT tournaments are always about having fun. Most tournaments are preceded by a big camp out with lots of fish talk and good times. You can browse the schedule and results on the left as well as check out the archives from years past. If you'd like to fish with the club feel free to post a message on the forum to say hello and find out any special scoop about the tournament you might be interested in fishing.

If you are new to the site or to the club and need help posting a message for the first time on the forum, please check out this page which explains the procedure in detail.

Good fishin' to everyone!
