April 25-26, 2015 - 2015 Clear Lake Open
With high expectations Kick Boat and Float tube anglers from all over Northern California gathered together for the kick off of the 2015 Clear Lake Open.
It was a great weekend with 40 anglers bringing fish to the scale!
Great Job to Kevin Marcheschi, who figured out the big fish bite, with a huge 2 day total of 54.70 pounds. Kevin brought in a massive bag for 29.16 pounds on day one and backed it up with 25.54 pounds on day two. Kevin anchored his weight with the day one big fish at 8.64 pounds and his two day total weight beat the previous Clear Lake Open record, set in 2014, by a mere 8.7 pounds.
Second place went to Deren Kozenko. Deren weighed 20.58 pounds on day one and had 18.98 pounds for day two to end the weekend with 39.06 pounds for 10 fish.
DJ Von Bima brought 12.02 pounds to the scale on Saturday and upped his game on Sunday with 18.45 pounds for 30.47 pounds and a third place finish.
The fourth place finisher, with 14.53 pounds on day one and 15.75 for day two, was last years champ Jon Graves with 30.28 pounds for his best 10.
And rounding out the top five is Robert Middleton who weighed in 16.20 pounds the first day and 10.34 on day two for 26.54 pounds of Clear Lake bass.
The day 2 and tournament big fish was brought to the scale by BnT president Jeff Wilson who landed a 9.16 pond whopper with his trusty drop shot rig!

are preceded by a big camp out with lots of fish talk
and good times. You can browse the schedule and results
on the left as well as check out the archives from years
past. If you'd like to fish with the club feel free
to post a message on the forum to say hello and find
out any special scoop about the tournament you might
be interested in fishing. |
